Gary Boshears was elected to the MFISD Board of Trustees, Place 1, for his first three year term in May 2016.

Gary has lived in Marble Falls for over 20 years. Gary has been married to his wife, Michele, for 7 years and they are blessed with three children, Anneliese, Garrett, and Greyson, all of whom are students at Marble Falls ISD. Gary graduated from Marble Falls High School in 2000. Since graduating, Gary has worked in law enforcement for over 15 years and currently serves as the Chief of Police for the City of Granite Shoals. Gary frequently says that one of the best parts about working in law enforcement is the opportunities that it gives to visit with kids in schools. Gary has received degrees of Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Administration with a concentration in Management in 2013 and Master of Public Administration in 2015.

Gary and Michele have been actively involved with the Parent Teacher Organization at Highland Lakes Elementary and coach youth baseball during the spring.
