Place 7, Vice-President

Current Term: May 2021- 2024

Kevin Virdell was appointed to the Place 7 school board position in August 2016. 

Kevin Virdell is a proud alumnus of Marble Falls High School, having graduated in 1997.  He holds a BA in Finance and Economics from Texas Tech University and an MBA in Finance from St. Edward’s University.  In his professional career, Mr. Virdell is Executive Vice President of Hill Country National Bank, a branch of Llano National Bank working in lending and the overall growth of the bank. 

In his personal time, Mr. Virdell is an active member of Marble Falls Church of Christ, is a long-time advisor/volunteer with Highland Lakes Christmas is for Kids and is a former member of the Burnet Rotary and CASA – Highland Lakes Board of Directors.  He has a deep love for high school and college football and plays golf any chance he can get. 

Mr. Virdell is married to Jennifer, a diagnostician with MFISD and together they have two children, Kenley, an 8th grader, and Kamryn, a 5^th grader.  He has roots in the education system, growing up as a “coach’s kid,” so he has a deep appreciation for the time, effort and love that each one of our educators provide to the children of MFISD.
