Welcome to MFISD Transportation

Welcome aboard the MFISD school bus!
We are excited about the opportunity to serve our students of the district!
MFISD services over 2,000 students covering over 400 square miles of the beautiful Hill Country. 
We are currently running 35 buses with over 45 routes. 
Our number one priority is SAFETY, as your students are our most precious cargo!

We are thrilled to have the opportunity to serve the students and families of Marble Falls ISD! Our dedicated transportation team is committed to providing a safe, reliable, and efficient bus service for our district.

MFISD proudly transports over 2,000 students daily, covering more than 400 square miles of the breathtaking Texas Hill Country. With a fleet of 35 buses running over 45 routes, we work hard to ensure that every student arrives at school and home safely and on time.

Safety is our top priority! Our highly trained drivers and staff go above and beyond to make sure your children—our most precious cargo—travel in a secure and caring environment. We follow strict safety protocols, maintain our buses to the highest standards, and encourage students to follow safe riding practices.

Parameters of Service:

Student Transportation Policy

The district provides transportation to and from a student’s designated bus stop, based on their residence of record. Each student is assigned to one bus unless otherwise approved by the Transportation Department.

Eligibility:

  • Transportation is available for students living 2 or more miles from their assigned campus.
  • Transfer students are not eligible for bus services.
  • Special education students may receive transportation if determined necessary through the Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) process.

Transportation is not provided to:

  • Unassigned residences (e.g., friend’s house, relatives, babysitters)
  • Businesses, including a parent’s workplace
  • After-school activities

Parents must arrange alternate transportation for students traveling to or from these locations.

Bus Procedures:

  • Students should be ready at their bus stop 5 minutes before the assigned pickup time.
  • Transportation changes must be requested before 1:30 PM to ensure proper communication with campus staff.
