Courtney Williamson, a Marble Falls Middle School teacher, received the Spotlight on Engagement Award, presented by Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction Yarda Leflet, for her outstanding dedication to both her students and colleagues. Known for her engaging classroom lessons, she also mentors other teachers and readily assists her campus and district. Principal Rudy Gonzalez commended her for consistently maintaining positive relationships with students and leading her social studies department. Colleague Kristi Gratehouse praised her innovative teaching methods and her commitment to active learning for all students. Ms. Williamson exemplifies the essence of a lifelong learner and is celebrated for her contributions to the Marble Falls ISD community.  

    

Spotlight on Excellence

Ashlea Lehman, a first-grade teacher at Marble Falls Elementary, is recognized as the Spotlight on Excellence Award winner presented by Superintendent Dr. Jeff Gasaway. Nominated by Mr. Haley, Lehman is celebrated for her exceptional ability to build strong relationships with students, families, and staff. Her engaging and vibrant classroom activities, such as Fun Friday meetings and dressing up for the 100th day of school, make her class a favorite among students. Lehman maintains lasting connections with former students, attending their events even as they progress to high school and beyond. Additionally, she leads the school social committee, mentors staff, and contributes to vertical alignment efforts. Lehman expresses deep appreciation for the honor, emphasizing her joy in watching students grow and succeed over the years.
