FFA Area Qualifiers
MFISD FFA Area Qualifers
The Marble Falls Future Farmers of America (FFA) competed in the San Saba District Leadership Development Events (LDE’s) Monday, November, 7th. Still celebrating their top 9 Nursery Landscape Team finish at Nationals in October, the MFHS FFA teams were eager to see how they would do in the new school year’s LDE competitions.

Three of the four MFHS FFA teams competing qualified for the upcoming Area competition in Blanco on November 16th, with two of the teams earning District Championships. To qualify for Area, teams must finish either first or second in their District. The Junior Skills Demonstration team comprised of Alec Oberle, Daniel Sparks, and Chandler Walsh (pictured left) brought back a District Championship.
The Senior Quiz team of, Zach Fearn, Benjamin Sconci, Avery Marshall, and Holly Atkinson (pictured right) also won District in their event.

Freshman, Kenadee Stewart, qualified for Area with a second place finish in Junior Creed (pictured below right with FFA President, Avery Marshall).
MFISD FFA  “All of our FFA Sponsors are looking forward to seeing how our three Area Qualifying Teams perform in the Area VII Leadership Development Events on November 16th,” said FFA Sponsor, Dawn Stratton. “We’d also like to congratulate our Senior Chapter Conducting Event Team, which finished just out of Area Qualifying range in third place. The Team of Holly Atkinson, Amber Fearn, Zach Fearn, Madeline Holder, Avery Marshall, Benjamin Sconci, and Kendadee Stewart competed well in a close competition.”
