The Marble Falls ISD Board of Trustees approved Jeff Gasaway as Assistant Superintendent of Administration during a special called Board meeting Thursday eveningGasaway replaces Wade Stanford, who moved into the Superintendent position in Westwood ISD. 

“Based on his work in Midway ISD and his administrative experience in North Texas, Mr. Gasaway is the unanimous recommendation of the interview committee assembled to screen and help select for this position,” said Dr, Chris Allen, MFISD Superintendent.  “Jeff brings a wealth of experience to Marble Falls.  He is the 2016 PTA Secondary Principal of the Year, was the Region 12 TASSP Principal of Year and TASSP State finalist for the same award, and served as an officer of the Texas Parent Teacher Association for Region 12 and the TASSP.”

Gasaway has worked as a central office Human Resource Director and has experience as a coach and as a trainer.  He is scheduled to complete his Ed.D. in Education Curriculum from Baylor in 2017.  Gasaway earned a M.Ed. in Educational Administration from Texas A & M and his B.A. in Exercise and Sport Science from Texas Tech University.  He is also an Adjunct Professor in the Baylor University School of Education.

Gasaway will be joined in the community for the start of this school year by Kara, his wife of 16 years.  She will be a Reading Specialist at Marble Falls Elementary.  Gasaway’s youngest son, Hayden will be going into 5th grade, and his oldest son, Hunter, will be a freshman at MFHS.
