The Mustangs are competing in 5A play in District 25 for the 2015 football season. The second year with Athletic Director and Head Football Coach, Matt Green, the introduction of new assistant coaches, and action at the quarterback slot has created high interest in the Mustangs’ upcoming season. With a decision on a proposal to split 5A into Division I and Division II indefinitely delayed by the University Interscholastic League, Marble Falls will compete again this year against Cedar Park, Dripping Springs, Leander, Vandegrift, Vista Ridge, Georgetown and Georgetown East View. Marble Falls’ fans are eager to see the Mustang’s high-flying offense and program growth during the last year and this summer’s 7-on-7 play.
Previous Mustang Season Ticket holders have already been notified that their tickets are up for renewal. Season ticket holders are eagerly renewing their reserved seat reservations to make sure they have a great view of the action, with seat backs for a comfortable spot to sit during time outs in play. Previous Season Ticket holders who have not yet contacted the MFISD Central Office to reserve their current seating reservations are encouraged to reserve their season tickets this week.
Mustang fans who have not previously purchased season tickets can reserve their seats by contacting Jessica Romrell at the MFISD Central Office between 1:00 and 4:00 p.m. beginning July 20th, 21st and 22nd. (Call 830-693-4357)
Mustang Season Tickets and single game tickets continue to be one of the best entertainment values in Central Texas. Season tickets are an outstanding deal compared to the cost of tickets in neighboring school districts for high school football games. For 2015, each season ticket package including five home games is still only $45. Special senior season tickets are available for just $10. Senior ticket holders must be 65 years or older to qualify for senior pricing. Fans interested in getting on the waiting list for reserved seating are encouraged to call the MFISD Central Office at 830-693-4357. General admission seats will also be available in advance through the Athletics office and at MFMS one week prior to each game. General admission pricing will be set by District 25-5A in August.
Limited reserved season parking will be available through the Athletics Office beginning August 10th for $35 per vehicle. Additional parking with free shuttles will also be running from Colt Elementary and Marble Falls Middle School for Home games in Mustang Stadium.
Coach Green is personally inviting all Mustang Football fans to watch the Mustang's first scrimmages: Friday, August 14th in Brownwood and Friday August 21st versus Kerrville Tivy in Kerville. Join the Mustangs for the first game of the season Friday, August 28th in Burnet.
