Marble Falls High School’s Student Council members are hard at work preparing for this year’s Homecoming Festivities scheduled for October 10th - 14th. Students will be building the Homecoming excitement with in-school spirit days leading up to the Homecoming Ceremonies and Football game versus Kerrville Tivy, Friday, October 14th. Everyone is invited to participate in this year’s Homecoming Parade, Bon Fire and Pep Rally on Thursday October 13th, and the pre-game and halftime celebrations during the game Friday night.
The Homecoming Parade will follow the traditional route through the neighborhood north of MFMS. Participants will stage in the front loop of MFMS. The parade will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m. from the front of Marble Falls Middle School and run North up Northwood drive toward MFISD’s Central Offices.
To help all our students stay safe, parade participants on floats are encouraged to stay seated, and lightly toss soft candies well clear of the street. Parade fans are asked to remain clear of the street while watching the parade. Please also be respectful of our neighbor’s yards by picking up trash after the parade.
Community and School organizations are invited to join in the parade as participants. If you have a float or group you would like to march in the parade, use the following link to register: https://goo.gl/forms/Xq9QPU4DgdksQFHK2. For more information about the parade, and all of the MFHS Homecoming events, contact Renee Grumbles at the High School.
