MFISD Mourns Loss of Student
A Message from MFHS & MFMS Principals

A message from Marble Falls High School Principal, Manny Lunoff, and Middle School Principal, Roger Barr:

Our MFISD student body lost one of its Mustangs when Albert Monzon, Jr., an incoming 9th grader, passed away due to an automobile accident this weekend.  Other members of the Monzon family were also injured in the accident, and are currently receiving critical care in a hospital out of the country.

Since Albert also had siblings at other Marble Falls ISD campuses, we realize the news of his death as well as concern for his family members may be far reaching through our community of students, staff, and faculty.  Marble Falls High School and Marble Falls Middle School will have grief counselors available on campuses for any student having difficulty with the emotional pain of this traumatic event.

Knowing that it takes community support to help our Mustang family in times of need, friends of the family have set up a Go Fund Me page for the Monzon family to assist with funeral and hospital costs, transportation, and any other expenses they may encounter as a result of these unexpected turn of events.  The link to the page is

Please know that we are here to help and support our community, so please let us know how we can help.
