Marble Falls Independent School District will be holding its School Board Trustee Elections from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 7, 2016. The regular election polling locations for the May 7th regular voting and instructions for ballot by mail are available on the MFISD website. Early Voting will be located at the Courthouse Annex at 810 Steve Hawkins in Marble Falls and the Burnet County Courthouse at 220 S. Pierce in Burnet from April 25th – May 3rd between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. each day.
Wade Stanford, Assistant Superintendent of Operations, reports that two places, Place 1 and Place 2, will be up for election. In Place 1, Jim Coursey, Gary Boshears and Lenwood Nelson are vying for a position on the MFISD Board of Trustees. In Place 2, current Board member, Karl Westerman is running unopposed.
