MFISD Recognizes Community Partners
MFISD Thanks Local Businesses

Marble Falls ISD and the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) launched a new initiative this week in Marble Falls to formally honor businesses and other community organizations that go above and beyond to support Texas Public Schools.  School Board President, Rick Edwards and Board Member, Larry Berkman, joined Superintendent Dr. Chris Allen, Assistant Superintendents, Wade Stanford and Dr. Wes Cunningham, MFHS Principal, Manny Lunoff, and Coordinator of Community & Business Relations, Krystal Dunk, to present the awards.

“We hope that the award presentations this week are the first of what the District expects will be a long tradition of honoring those businesses that partner with MFISD to support our students, teachers, and school programs,” said Allen.  “We know that many in our community already recognize the great contributions these and other businesses make to support our school programs.  We’re happy now that through the TASB Awards presented this week, they will also be recognized at the State level!”

From Stout’s and Foxworth-Galbraith’s donations of building materials to the District’s CTE Construction Trades program, to the donation from Hill Country Business Solutions to support MFISD’s Holiday staff celebration, the support of local businesses and other community organizations is vitally important to public schools in Texas.  Be sure to thank MFISD’s community partners and let them know you appreciate their support of our public schools.
