Marble Falls ISD is inviting parent and community input to help establish a hiring profile developed around the characteristics and qualities desired for Colt Elementary School’s next full-time Principal. The community input will be used by the District’s Human Resource Department to help guide the Principal Screening Committee during the interviewing process later this spring. The Screening committee has the opportunity to review applications, interview, and make recommendations of top Principal candidates to MFISD Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Chris Allen. The newly selected Principal is scheduled to be in place to transition with Keith Powell, the current Principal of Colt Elementary, before his retirement this summer.
“We believe it is vital to visit with our parents and community members so they have the opportunity to give input on the traits they think are important for the next leader of Colt Elementary School,” said Wade Stanford, Assistant Superintendent of Administrative Operations. “The Colt Elementary School Principal Profile Development will be the first important step in the hiring process for the next Principal of Colt Elementary.”
Community members and interested parents who currently have, or will have, a student attending Colt Elementary during the next school year, are encouraged to attend the Colt Elementary Principal Profile Development meeting Tuesday, March 29th, at 5:30 p.m., in the Colt Elementary Library. Colt Elementary is located at 2200 Manzano Mile, Marble Falls. For more information about the Principal Profile meeting, please visit the MFISD website at http://marblefallsisd.org/.
