Falls Career High School students invite you to give blood during their Fall Community Service project Blood Drive, Monday, September 14th, from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. The Blood Drive is put on by The Blood Center of Central Texas.
“Now that the school year is underway, and learning is in the air, it’s time to start thinking about saving some lives in Central Texas,” said Falls Teacher, Mike Saenz. “The Highland Lakes and Marble Falls ISD Community are always key to our blood drives’ success. Each year we have collected far more donations than we have students enrolled. But the donations of the past don’t help the needs of the present. It’s time to roll up our sleeves again and save some lives.”
To donate next Monday, look for the Multi-Colored Bloodmobile in the parking lot across from MFISD Administration Building, one block behind Super Taco. Donors will receive a free T-Shirt and munchies. Donors must be 17 or older, weigh at least 115 lbs., and must have eaten a full meal before donating.
“We feel blessed at Falls Career High School that the Marble Falls ISD Community rallies around our blood drive twice a year,” said Falls Principal, Peggy Little. “It shows our students that a local community can be a potent force creating life-furthering values; and that fifty students can be the catalyst that sets that force in motion.”
Call Mike Saenz (830-798-3626), email him at email@example.com to make an appointment (available every 15 minutes), or just show up and look for the Bloodmobile.
